Since the 1870's the Mood family has grown apples and peaches. Blueberries were begun in the 1940's by Richard Mood Sr. The Market was built in 1925 and is one of the original farm markets in the area. Rose Mood built the market from a couple of steps to the existing building.

In 1967 Richard Mood Jr. constructed a cider press and has been pressing fresh, sweet apple cider ever since.

We are past members of the New Jersey Certified Farm Market Organization. In 1976 our market was chosen as the "Farm Market of the Year" by the New Jersey Farm Bureau.

In 1986 we received the Century Farm Award from the New Jersey Agricultural Society.

We are members of the New Jersey Direct Farmers Marketing Association.

At present Richard and Joyce Mood, along with their daughters, Patti and Pam, run the farm market and orchard.
